I have created over 120 sets of task cards that you can get for your classroom. Most have either 24 or 32 cards per set and include student answer sheets and answer keys when applicable. Many are aligned with Common Core Standards. Most are priced at under $3.00. A few of the sets are even free! Summarize It! Task Cards Your students will enjoy the challenge of having to stay under the 12 word limit.
Cause and Effect Task Cards Identifying both the cause and the effect gives students the opportunity to analyze on a deeper level.
Word Root Task Cards using Word Pairs Students see how a root is used in two different words and use the words as clues to determine the meaning.

Drawing Conclusions Task Cards
Similar to Inference task cards but in a multiple choice format.
Main Idea Task Cards (Differentiated) Two sets are included, one set includes topic sentences while the other does not. Multiple choice also available.
Compare and Contrast Task Cards This set includes a mix of fiction and nonfiction. Signal words are also included in most of the paragraphs.
Figurative Language Task Cards
Connections Task Cards: Self, Text, World A mix of fiction and nonfiction for making connections. Text to Self, Text to Text and Text to World.
Fact and Opinion Task Cards These cards are divided evenly between fact and opinion and cover a variety of subjects.
Word Root Task Cards using Sentences
With these cards, sentences give context to the words, making the task a bit easier.
